L&D MANAGER (JUNIOR MANAGER LEVEL/EXECUTIVE)
REQUIREMENTS
- An intermediate level trainer, with significant experience in design and up front delivery of Soft skills training
- University degree in Human Resources
- Minimum 5 years work experience in Human Resources
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English both written and verbal
- Experience in project planning and management
- The ability to work with and influence Managers at all levels
- Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Is positive and highly motivated towards achieving objectives
- Sound decision making ability
- The ability to coach and develop others
- Demonstrates drive and resilience
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the design, development and delivery of employee development including technical and competency development
- In consultation with the HR Manager, to manage the Training budget and costs of external suppliers in a way that provides the company's with the most effective use of the training budget.
- To measure the effectiveness of the training programmes implemented, through the learning results achieved and return on investment.
- To publish and deliver a training schedule for each calendar year, which supports the company’s business plan.
- To liaise with other trainers and GCC to ensure that where possible we obtain ready developed courses and share Qatar developed programmes with other trainers in the Area and outside as appropriate.
- To support the HR Manager in actively driving and implementing Management Development – for all tiers of management
- To manage and support key and critical functional development in line with the strategic objectives of the organisation.
- To formulate annual plan for training to best align people to the strategic intent of the business.
- To coach and support managers to identify development needs of the company's.
- To manage the T & D Team in the planning, designing and delivery of training initiatives that support the success of the country business plan and strategic intent.
- To establish relationships with vendors towards sourcing and selection of quality development tools that support the business mission and work life experience
